    Family Meeting

This piece is full of pink, white, purple and blue and is about family gathering to meet from far away. The centre of the piece represents the family meeting place, with symbols of travelling, love and family throughout the piece.

    Family Gathering Colourful

My Family Gathering Series is about family coming together to reconnect and re-establish relationships.

This piece tells the story of my family travelling from separate areas to meet for the first time after links were lost during the stolen generation. My family gathered at a meeting place where we reconnected and spent time together. There are Aboriginal symbols such as meeting place, family and others throughout the piece.

    Gabi

My Gabi series is inspired by the Mount Gambier Blue Lake. Everytime I walk around and visit the Blue Lake i feel a sense of peace and calm.Depending on the day, you will see shades of emerald, green, turqoise, purple and blues on the Mount Gambier Blue Lake, which has inspired this series.

Gabi means water in my language. This piece represents the water sources where i live, with the iconic Mount Gambier Blue Lake in the middle of the piece. This beauty has the Aboriginal symbol of joined water sources at the bottom of the piece. Depending on the day, you will see shades of emerald, green, turqoise, purple and blues on the Mount Gambier Blue Lake, which has inspired this series.
